Jason Fuessel
Founder and Principal
I’m Jason Fuessel, founder and licensed insurance broker at Secured First Financial of America.
Born and raised in San Angelo, Texas, I grew up in the country on a farm with my five siblings. Even though we didn’t live out there full-time, my dad made sure we spent plenty of time working alongside him — teaching us the value of hard work, honesty, and helping others.
Before starting my agency, I worked in the hospitality industry as a bartender and waiter, and later in Information Technology as a technician. Both fields taught me the value of hard work, problem-solving, and providing excellent service to others. After many years in those roles, I realized I wanted to do something that made a real difference in people’s lives.
To be honest, I didn’t set out to join the insurance industry — but once I saw how confusing and overwhelming the process could be for so many people, I knew this was where I could help most. Now, I genuinely love what I do — helping clients save money, understand their options, and find the best plan that truly works for them.
I’m also a husband and father of two amazing kids — a boy and a girl — and family is at the heart of everything I do. That’s why I approach every client relationship the same way I’d want someone to treat my own family: with patience, honesty, and care.
